JAM Sessions: Rainbow Lightcatchers

About this event

When thinking of the Sun, we usually imagine it to be a bright yellow color. But in truth, the Sun’s light contains all colors of the visible spectrum, and that’s how we get rainbows. This JAM will involve using CDs to make decorative light catchers that can shine with all our favorite colors. *JAM Sessions are intended for children aged 6-10. *Tickets are FREE for MAP members and $5.00 for general admission. Members, please use your discount code emailed to you at the beginning of your membership. --------------------- *We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for Little Explorers Club and JAM Sessions reservations via emailing . Please include the name on the reservation, number of students, date and time of the class. *Please help create an outstanding learning environment by limiting disruptions in the classroom! Parents are, of course, always welcome to remain in class but should a parent choose to step out, we have provided a seating area just outside the classrooms. Parents and siblings are also welcome to explore our Discovery Room or the rest of the Museum until the class concludes.
