About this event
Want to learn a KC Raqs Troupe Choreography? Now is your chance! Over the course of four weeks, learn our troupe choreography to Aziza! You will get a taste of troupe expectations, how we work together as a group, and the skills necessary to be a successful troupe member. Please note, learning this choreography does not guarantee a performance opportunity or membership into the troupe. We will get as far as we can into the choreography in the time alloted, but we may not complete the piece.
Completion of Level 1 Certification is REQUIRED. Experience with floor patterns and complex group choreographies is recommended. As with troupe practices in general, choreography will move quickly each week. Practice outside of class and strong technical foundations are essential to all troupe members. As with troupe practices, there is NO ZOOM OPTION. All participants must attend in-person. If you miss a week, you are expected to learn from the recording. Current troupe members who wish to review/learn the choreography are welcome!
If you are interested in becoming a troupe member in the future, I'll also offer optional feedback at the end of the series based on my "Troupe Trifecta"--the three main skills/attributes I look for in troupe members (and how you can improve on those skills). Contact me with any questions!
Meeting dates: 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22 at 5:15 PM.
Listed by KC Raqs World Dance (Wix Events), gathered by the Olathe events calendar.
