About this event
Back in March, members picked movies they thought belonged on the top 100. Tori selected Portrait of a Lady on Fire and the group has now chosen it for discussion. This French historical romantic drama was released in 2019. Céline Sciamma, who wrote and directed, won Best Screenplay at Cannes Film Festival. The National Board of Review chose it as one of the top 5 best foreign language films of the year. Read more on the film's Wikipedia page .
