SciFun Camp: Kitchen Chemistry

About this event

As we get closer to the holiday season, we look forward to the family meals and treats that come along with it. We all have recipes that have been passed down through the years, and learning the science behind these recipes can give us an appreciation for the art of baking. In this camp, students will learn the chemical processes behind baking, what each ingredient does and where it comes from, and the importance of measurements and math in baking. We’ll also be doing experiments to test our senses and finding other ways to make treats. $100 Non-Members $90 Members (please use the discount code emailed to you) If registering multiple children, please add them to the cart one at a time. Nov 23 & 24 (Monday & Tuesday) Drop-off for camps is from 8:00-8:20 am and pick-up is from 3:30-4:00 pm. Please email with any questions.
