Iowa Brass at the 2026 U.S. Masters Brass Band Championships

Iowa Brass is excited to return to the U.S. Masters Brass Band Championships on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri!

Now celebrating its fifth edition, the U.S. Masters brings together outstanding brass bands from across North America for a full day of exceptional music, entertainment, and friendly competition. Beginning at 10:00 AM, bands will take the stage to present their own unique championship programs as they compete for U.S. Masters honors and thousands of dollars in prizes.

For this year’s competition, Iowa Brass will present an original program built around the theme “The Elements,” exploring Earth, Water, Air, and Fire through the power, color, and versatility of the brass band. Expect an imaginative program filled with contrast, energy, and a few surprises along the way!

Following the competition performances, the Fountain City Brass Band will take the stage for a special gala concert at approximately 5:00 PM, followed by the presentation of the 2026 U.S. Masters awards.
