About this event
Join us to discuss Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged (#66 on our list). This work of philosophical science fiction, published in 1957, was her fourth and final novel. The Library of Congress said, "The book’s negative view of government and its support of unimpeded capitalism as the highest moral objective have influenced libertarians and those who advocate less government." Read more about it here .
Note: we are set to read Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man for December but will set aside a few minutes to pick our books for January, February, and March. You can see the full list from which we select our books here .
Listed by Meetup: Kansas City, MO, gathered by the Olathe events calendar.
