About this event

Few dates hold as much significance in German history as November 9. From the birth of the Weimar Republic to the violence of the Nazi era, to the fall of the Berlin Wall, the events of this single day hold some of the most consequential turning points of the 20th century. This year's annual Kristallnacht commemoration will explore the history of a date that time and again, changed the course of Germany's

history. This commemoration is brought to you by the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. It is free and open to the public but registration is required. To register and to learn more about the event click here .
