About this event

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in their own eyes” (Judges 21:25). This thought summarizes the end of the book of Judges and is the time period the book of 1 Samuel begins. In 1 Samuel, the people request a king and it begins the start of the united kingdom in Israel. We will see the kingship of Saul and David’s journey to be king. We are simply reading and discussing the books of 1-2 Samuel. All are welcome. If you can, bring a Bible or a device to read from. If not, we’ll have an extra. I’ll have an open Bible on the table.
