Another Sunday, another opportunity to discover the birds around us!

This week, we’re heading to Lexington Lake Park for a beginner-friendly birdwatching morning.

We’ll explore the lakeside paved trail, observing birds on the water, among the trees, and overhead.

Whether you’re new to birding, returning to an old hobby, or simply curious, you’re welcome here.

Bring binoculars if you have them, comfortable shoes, water, and layers for the November weather.

We’ll take our time, pause frequently, and enjoy learning together. No bird identification experience required!

Meeting location: Lexington Lake Park, 9000 Sunflower Road, De Soto, KS. Exact gathering point near the lake parking area will be confirmed before the event.
