About this event
We have a Artsy Afternoon planned for you at the Johnson County Community College! We will first enjoy a tour of the Nerman Museum led by a docent with JCCC. We will then relax and enjoy a fabulous lunch from a fixed price menu at Cafe Tempo just outside the Museum while we catch up with our Hive friends. It wouldn't be an artsy day without rolling up our sleeves and making a one of a kind "Needle Felt Ball Ornament" just in time for the holiday in a mini-maker's space class. We'll wrap up the afternoon at the Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Academy's Pastry Shop a short walk away to admire some of their baked items and possibly purchase some to take home. Whew - what an afternoon of food, art, and friends!
Everyone registered will receive an email before the event to select and preorder their lunch from the cafe.
Cost: $ 44.50 per person includes lunch, tour and craft costs. Cost of baked items from the JCCC Pastry Shop are on your own.
Tickets are nonrefundable. This event is open to those who have joined The Hive and is limited to 28 guests.
