Meet Deb Nemec, Owner of Pinot’s Palette Leawood!

After more than 25 years in association management, creative design, and meeting planning, Deb took a creative leap of faith and opened Pinot’s Palette Leawood in 2013. Now in her 14th year as a franchise owner, she’s built a business around bringing people together through art, laughter, and unforgettable experiences (with a little wine sprinkled in!).

A longtime entrepreneur who believes business is about more than the bottom line, Deb loves connecting with people, supporting fellow business owners, and finding new ways to keep creativity alive. When she’s not dreaming up the next fun thing at the studio, she’s enjoying time with her family and eight grandchildren.

Deb believes it’s never too late to try something new, take a chance on yourself, or add a little more color to life!

Who will you meet?

Our events bring together women entrepreneurs, business owners, and allies who support them. It’s a space to connect, share experiences, and grow together.

Do I need to be a member?

Not at all. While NAWBO KC members enjoy added benefits, our events are open to anyone who wants to engage with and support the women-owned business community.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! Guests ages 21+ are welcome.
