Indoor Foraging Workshop

About this event

Note: Website registration is required; see link at the bottom.

We are so excited to partner with Ruth from Frugal Forging Folks , who also serves as a dedicated Missouri Conservation Department Volunteer! Ruth brings a wealth of local knowledge, practical safety tips, real specimens, and a deep passion for sustainable harvesting.

This is an indoor, warm, interactive dive into the vibrant world of late-fall and winter wild abundance! While autumn brings cooler weather, nature offers an incredible bounty—from tree barks and evergreen berries to sap tapping, wild nuts, and seasonal preparations.

Whether you are curious about wild food, eager to learn plant identification in a cozy setting, or excited to sample nature-inspired kitchen creations, this gathering is designed just for you.

Supporting our Host & A Birthday Celebration: We would love to have her host foraging events more often so welcoming her and supporting her is greatly appreciated!

Also, in gratitude and in honor of her birthday, ALL DONATIONS will go towards getting her a special gift/gift card.

Please note, indoor seating is limited. Don't miss your chance to absorb her years of knowledge.

Bring a notebook and pen because you will want to take notes.

Meetup is informational, website registration is required to secure your spot in our group, receive emails/updates, etc. https://www.navigatetonature.com/event-details/indoor-foraging-workshop
