Join us for the monthly KCBS meeting and jam at Murphy’s Corner in Lenexa. How about a little Turkey Bone for November? Turkey Bone and Full Count will be our host band.
Murphy’s Corner has some of the best food in the metro, and they have new food and drink specials all week! If you haven’t been in a while or haven’t ever been, what are you waiting for? Jessica and her team provide a very homey and fun atmosphere every day, and the service is top notch.
We will be selling Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise raffle tickets for a suite for two people. Drawing will take place Saturday, November 21 , at KKFI 90.1fm during the Blues Kitchen radio show between 9am – 11am. You need not be present to win! If you’re out of town, you can listen online by visiting KKFI.org , click on the Listen Now button. Thanks to those who have supported the KCBS by buying a raffle ticket or two.
The first half-hour of the jam is reserved for our youth musicians. They are welcome to bring their full bands or play with more experienced jammers. Tell your friends and family!
