Mayor's Holiday Festival

About this event

The Mayor’s Holiday Festival in Downtown Overland Park is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season! This free community event takes place on Friday, November 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It brings the area to life with twinkling lights, festive music, holiday crafts, train rides, delicious food and plenty of opportunities to soak up the holiday spirit. Santa will be there for photos and a snow princess appearance. The evening's highlight is the magical lighting of the Mayor’s Christmas tree at 6 p.m.. The Mayor will also recognize this year’s Mayor’s Holiday Fund recipient, celebrating the organization and the meaningful work they do in our community. With all the holiday fun happening around Thompson Park and Clock Tower Landing, Downtown Overland Park is a wonderful event for families friends, and anyone who loves a little holiday magic!
