Quilters Bliss will move to a new location at 2109 E.

151st St. in Olathe by early March, expanding its classes and inventory of quilting and sewing supplies while offering easier access with a parking lot entrance.

City officials will build a 200-foot pedestrian bridge over the Cedar Lake spillway at Cedar Lake Park as part of dam and sewer upgrades, and a $200,000 grant from a local trail fund supports the project set to start late 2026 and finish summer 2027.
