Kelly announced a $3 billion domed stadium in Wyandotte County with a new Olathe headquarters and mixed-use developments to create jobs and boost local revenue—legislators are questioning STAR bonds, tax incentives, and district boundaries. - ➤ Johnson County is now accepting applications for an expanded property tax relief program for low-income homeowners + eligible residents must meet income and property criteria and will receive a check to offset the county's tax bill, with applications closing on April 15. Johnson County
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Developers from Cedar Creek are seeking to rezone 62.5 acres southeast of the neighborhood for potential commercial, residential or mixed-use projects as they informed the Planning Commission Monday that no specific plans are yet in place. Olathe Reporter
- ➤ KC-based grocer Four B Foods plans a new marketplace at Olathe’s Cedar Creek neighborhood. The plan (approved Monday by the Olathe Planning Commission) includes an 80,600 sqft supermarket building with multi-tenant retail in the first phase and additional retail sites later. Olathe Reporter
