  • Last week, Chiefs attorney Korb Maxwell told lawmakers that STAR bonds for a new stadium in Wyandotte and Johnson counties could be paid off in under 15 years if strong economic growth and team success boost incremental sales tax revenue — local economists say a 30-year plan is more realistic given potential CID fees affecting spending.  KMBC

  • Olathe will open Compass in August, an alternative learning school for students with social, emotional + behavioral needs.
