  • Olathe business owner Matt Shatto supports the plan for a Chiefs headquarters near the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex as the City Council holds a hearing Tuesday at 6 p.m. at council chambers to pledge future tax revenues for the $300M facility — a measure expected to boost local business.  KCTV 5

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • The city council approved a plan for Solomon’s Porch Assisted Living on Jan. 20 at Mur-Len Road & Indian Creek Parkway and developers plan to start construction this spring. The facility will have 32 bedrooms, a koi pond, walking paths, & 24/7 care in a home-like setting for older adults.  Johnson County Post
