- ➤ Phase two of building demolitions on Santa Fe near I-35 is set to begin in March — following October’s four demolitions on the south side, this phase will clear 14 tracts mostly on the north side. Olathe Reporter

- ➤ Johnson County Government offers free tax prep help for qualifying residents. VITA operates at the Sunset Drive Office Building in Olathe on Wed, Thu and Sat while Oak Park Library hosts AARP Tax-Aide (appointments required) from Feb. 2 to April 15, and Catch-a-Ride offers transport (donation $6 suggested) on weekdays.
