CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Overland Park Police confirmed a man in his 30s was stabbed near 135th and Grant early Sunday night—officers later arrested a suspect near 135th and Switzer after providing aid until paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition, with police saying he is expected to survive. - ➤ Johnson County commissioners began planning a revised transit system that will serve a smaller area with more frequent fixed-route stops along key corridors—based on a consultant's recommendation for buses every 15 or 30 minutes and adjustments to micro transit boundaries.
