  • The city council approved Tuesday a plan to build a 143-ft cell tower near Old Hwy 56, about 675 feet from the Oak Run subdivision; the tower, set behind two planned buildings and a parking lot (shielding equipment from roads), will serve three carriers and need renewal every 10 years.  Olathe Reporter
