- ➤ Dr. Barbara Wright launched Grant Builder Pro Max in October (an app that helps nonprofits build grant proposals, budgets, and narratives) and it is available on iOS, Android, and the web; she also hosts free virtual grant writing classes on Monday and Thursday. KSHB
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Starting this fall, a new law signed by Gov. Laura Kelly will require Kansas K-12 students to keep their personal devices stored away during school. Some school leaders in Blue Valley, Olathe (and Shawnee Mission) say the rule may cost extra money and limit local control. Johnson County Post
- ➤ Kansas schools must implement a new statewide cell phone ban by September after Gov. Kelly signed the law March 17. Parents in Johnson County worry about keeping in touch with their kids – school districts are still deciding how to enforce the new policy. KSHB
