- ➤ Olathe City Council will vote on incentives for the County Square Commons project downtown on Tuesday—separately on industrial revenue bonds and a special sales tax district. - ➤ On March 27, the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners received the 2025 Community Survey results from ETC Institute — nearly all respondents stated the county is a good place to live, work, and raise children, with 90% feeling safe in their neighborhoods. Johnson County
- ➤ On March 27, the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners appointed Carolyn Logan as Director of Appraiser Operations; she will begin work on April 15 and manage the office while Interim Appraiser Kara Endicott handles statutory duties until Logan meets state requirements (she brings 20 years of government appraisal experience). - ➤ Johnson County will offer walk-in measles vaccine clinics in Olathe at 11875 S. Sunset and in Mission to slow a rising outbreak that has reported 23 cases, mostly in unvaccinated children. The Olathe clinic will operate Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon—while the Mission clinic will run Monday through Thursday only. KCTV 5
