Next Thursday, April 9, the Johnson County Post will join over 1,000 partner newsrooms in the inaugural Local News Day — a national effort to reconnect communities with trusted local journalism and announce plans to expand its newsroom.

Indra Group selected Olathe for its $7.5 million, 25,000 sqft radar facility at the Great Plains Commerce Center near 159th and Lone Elm; the facility will manufacture next-generation air traffic surveillance radars.

At Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, dozens of baby goats sport soccer-themed names (including Trophy, Captain, and Kickoff) to honor the upcoming World Cup.
