- ➤ The Kansas Department of Labor sent over 8,500 notices on Tuesday, April 23, to residents about unemployment overpayments since 2020— part of its efforts to modernize the system; recipients can pay in full, set up a repayment plan, or request a waiver. KCTV 5
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Evergreen Community cut the ribbon on its new 119-unit senior living facility near Ridgeview and College Boulevard on Thursday, ending two years of construction on a $34.5 million project + $20 million came from county funds in 2023 to replace its old county building. Olathe Reporter
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Olathe City Council approved two plots for 24 new single-family homes in Olathe, including an 8.78-acre lot in Heather Ridge Estates that finalizes its subdivision's last phase. Olathe Reporter
