- ➤ On June 14 at 1:45 p.m., the Olathe Fire Department arrived at a home on Lincoln Street and 126th Street that suffered severe fire damage—crews controlled the blaze in about 20 minutes while the Red Cross is helping a displaced family of three. FOX 4 Kansas City
- ➤ Olathe firefighters answered a call and put out a fire near W. 127th Street and S. Pflumm Road at 1:45 p.m. yesterday, taking 20 minutes to stop the blaze that badly damaged the home and gave one person a small burn while the Red Cross helped the displaced family of three (incident on June 14th) (cause under investigation). - ➤ Missouri fireworks sales will run from June 20 to July 10, and a new Kansas law allows permanent retailers to sell fireworks year-round—though local ordinances still limit when they may be used—according to officials.
