BUSINESS NEWS

CRIME NEWS

  • On April 30, police found 75-year-old Karen Peterson dead in her Olathe home during a welfare check, and court documents show that Dartanan Hudgens—who had lived with her—was charged with first-degree murder after investigators found evidence including his DNA at the scene; he is held on a $1 million cash-only bond with his next court appearance scheduled for July 17 at 1:30 p.m.  FOX 4 Kansas City
