- ➤ Olathe Police said a man in his mid‑60s suffered minor injuries when two vehicles collided at a stoplight on South Lone Elm Road near the on‑ramp to northbound I‑35 Tuesday evening at about 8:20 p.m.—he was taken to a hospital for evaluation while the second driver refused transport. - ➤ Kansas Tourism will launch the Sunflower Summer program on July 12 to offer Kansas families free entry to over 230 attractions as eligible students (pre-K through 12th) and one adult guardian can claim tickets using the Sunflower Summer app. The program will run until Aug. 3. FOX 4 Kansas City

- ➤ Olathe Public Schools announced it might lose over $1 million in funds after the U.S. Department of Education froze nearly $7 billion in grants during its funding review—forcing the district to reallocate money from other programs if the cuts persist.
