Kansas students enjoy free access to 200 attractions on the Sunflower Summer program until Aug.
2 (each student and one guardian receives free admission per visit). At the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop, local families can try hands-on farm activities as Kansas Tourism and the Department of Commerce sponsor summer learning.
The Olathe Fire Department opened Station 9 on Monday, July 13 at 8:00 a.m. at 20500 College Boulevard, where three firefighters who are also EMTs will provide 24/7 emergency service.
The station is located near the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex and Olathe Northwest High School.
