Residents in metro neighborhoods have reported fox sightings that raised safety concerns, but Johnson County’s K-State Extension agent Amy Keigher said the small animals are usually more scared of humans and unlikely to harm pets or children.
She advised pet owners with nearby fox dens to create a barrier between the animals and their pets + a class on fox behavior is scheduled for September 22 at 6 p.m.
