GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • After receiving a Finding of No Significant Impact this summer, the Kansas Department of Transportation moved the $1.2 billion K-10 project into the design phase to widen a 16.5-mile stretch with a third lane each way and build a new diamond interchange at Lone Elm Road — a plan that has raised safety concerns among Olathe residents and city leaders.  Johnson County Post
  • Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach issued an opinion Tuesday stating that the Johnson County Board of Commissioners exceeded its authority with its resolution to renew a public sales tax fund set for the November ballot.
