- ➤ Johnson County Park and Recreation District has begun planning its largest park using the Greater Kill Creek Area Park Master Plan to convert more than 3,000 acres of land into a space for outdoor recreation, environmental restoration and historic preservation. The first public engagement event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on August 2 at the Kill Creek Park Beach House in Olathe — Santec Consulting will lead the planning process. KSHB
