Megan Black, an Olathe South graduate, is named principal at Olathe West for this school year.
She has worked at the school since 2017 + her appointment follows former principal Jay Novacek's move to a district role.
🌲 Environment
Up to 4,000 fish died at Frisco Lake, causing local alarm.
Officials from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks + city authorities said low oxygen levels from extreme heat are behind the routine summer fish kill and expect normal water conditions soon.
