A new poll from the Kansas City Regional Transit Alliance shows that most voters in Johnson, Wyandotte, Jackson and Clay counties support a 10-year, half-cent sales tax to fund better bus service.
Local leaders will meet Friday to discuss putting the tax on the ballot — a move needed as state and federal funding decline.
