The Olathe Arts Festival will return to Johnson County Square in Downtown Olathe on Oct.10 and Oct.11 — featuring works by 57 local artists and an expanded marketplace of handcrafted items — with live music, food, and family activities scheduled.

On November 6, the Olathe School Board will vote to move over 100 Westview Elementary students to Rolling Ridge Elementary—this plan aims to keep 150 students together while preserving school feeder patterns.
The change is expected to ease transitions for the student group.

The Olathe city government is collecting old bikes for nonprofit donation at its hazardous waste dropoff event—Saturday, Oct.
11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HHW facility on 1420 S. Robinson Drive.
