- ➤ Sporting Kansas City and Children's Mercy Hospital have teamed up for nearly a decade on the Red Card KC Campaign+ the program visits local schools so kids learn to spot bullying and speak up. Dr. Ram Chettiar updated the effort on Heart of the Matter, emphasizing that bystanders play a key role in stopping harmful behavior. KMBC

- ➤ The annual Olathe Arts Festival took place Oct. 11—12 at Johnson County Square in downtown Olathe where families enjoyed stage shows, children's art activities, and artwork for sale. - ➤ UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie taught jiu jitsu to local kids today—helping them learn self-defense and build confidence during a session at Tyson Kilbey Jiu-Jitsu. Dozens of children attended to gain practical skills and life lessons from the martial arts icon. KCTV 5
