- ➤ Kansas drivers face increased road hazards this fall as the deer rut and harvest season bring more deer and large slow-moving vehicles onto highways—conditions that can lead to serious accidents. - ➤ Kansas Legal Services held an expungement clinic at the Johnson County Courthouse in Olathe to help residents clear nonviolent felony records so they can improve their job chances—Christine Dane, who served time for theft and struggled with opioid addiction, said the service gives her hope for a fresh start. The clinic, organized with T-Mobile attorneys and paralegals, takes about two weeks to complete the process and is offered 15 times a year—providing a critical chance for rebuilding lives. KMBC
