  • Indian Heights United Methodist Church in Overland Park has repeatedly replaced its rainbow All Are Welcome banner after it was vandalized and stolen since 2019 — local police are investigating potential hate crimes while members express concern for safety.  Johnson County Post

HEALTH NEWS

  • AdventHealth has plans to build a new outpatient facility near Olathe Pointe and the upcoming Olathe Commons apartments at 119th and Black Bob after city council approved rezoning a four-acre site on Tuesday. The two-story, 22,528 square foot building will offer outpatient services — primary care, specialty clinics, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing and an off-campus emergency department — with construction set to begin soon.  Olathe Reporter
