- ➤ Mission Community Food Pantry celebrated its five-year anniversary with a dinner on Oct. 22 and has grown from serving 49 families in 2020 to 170—180 families twice a month. Leaders say volunteer support and close monitoring of SNAP funding, furloughs and rising costs will be key as they expect a 10% increase by year-end. Johnson County Post
