  • Voters in Johnson County elected returning trustees Dawn Rattan and Lee Cross and newcomers Chad Carroll and Geoff Holton to the community college board, with unofficial results pending final canvass on November 13 at 8:30 a.m. In the WaterOne race, Jennifer Gunby unseated longtime board member Bob Reese—while Kay Heley and Jill Westra won uncontested contests.  Johnson County Post
  • The Johnson County Board of County Commissioners extended county funding for the WIC program to Dec. 6—ensuring that nutrition benefits for mothers and children continue during the federal shutdown, with reserve funds covering personnel costs while food benefits remain under state support.
