Olathe based Brown Suga, a family owned cookie shop, will open its second retail store in Leawood in February 2026 at Park Place shopping center on Ash St — adding ice cream, coffee drinks and other treats to its menu.

State health officials said one of the largest tuberculosis outbreaks in decades ended in the Kansas City, Kansas area after no new active cases were reported since April.
A total of 68 active cases and 91 latent infections were treated successfully with support from the CDC + local health departments.
