BSD Homes donated all profits from renovating a Johnson County home to Friendship Circle (its largest gift ever) to help lessen isolation for people with disabilities.
The company and nonprofit plan future partnerships to build community connections in the area.
Olathe teen Jack Punswick fulfilled his Make-A-Wish by donating 700 toys to children at Children's Mercy on Wednesday.
Local first responders + community members added holiday cheer with a festive light show for the patients.

The city council voted 7-0 Tuesday to add an extra 30 percent property tax abatement over 10 years for certain businesses in south Olathe, raising the rate from 50 percent and aiming to attract more developers to the area.
Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach announced a $4.5 million settlement that will give nearly 48,000 Kia and Hyundai owners free anti-theft upgrades and cash for eligible claims, while drivers have one year from notice to schedule installation at an authorized dealership.
