- ➤ PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub will open its first Johnson County location at 7070 W. 105th St. in Overland Park in October — marking its 12th site and meeting long-standing local customer requests. Local franchisee Casey Richards, with nearly a decade of experience, will run the restaurant — which will offer handcrafted pizzas made from scratch and seat over 150 guests inside and 20 on the patio. - ➤ Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company opened its new $400 million plant on Tuesday on South Hedge Lane in Olathe—spanning 150 acres with a 700,000-square-foot building that houses four production lines making 2,000 cans and 900 bottles per minute for more than 25,000 customers. - ➤ Olathe Police ask the public to help locate 36-year-old Sarah Joann Johnson, last seen in the 300 block of South Water Street on Saturday, June 7 — she is 4-foot-11, weighs about 130 pounds, has blonde hair and green eyes, and sports a butterfly tattoo on one ankle and a tattoo reading McKenzie on one leg — as the investigation continues.
