- ➤ Olathe is funding school crossing guards and a school resource officer at the Kansas School for the Deaf this school year. The approved contract with All City Management Services for the 2025-2026 school year runs until June 30, 2026 — with costs expected to reach $453,082. Olathe Reporter
- ➤ The city council approved a three-year contract on Aug. 5 so Olathe PD will soon use drones that carry AEDs and spot heat in fires while providing overhead views of emergency scenes.
